Timothy Sheehy
Founding Principal & Managing Director
A founding partner of Red Legend Capital, Timothy leads strategic engagements involving capital strategies, business development, marketing, strategic planning, joint ventures and investments. He has developed a track record as an energetic, entrepreneurial, tenacious and resourceful leader and is broadly experienced with large public companies, start-ups, high-growth enterprises, turn-arounds and public sector organizations. Clients have come to value him as a creative and visionary builder adept at leading teams that succeed in ambiguous, challenging environments. He was one of the co-founders of the Midlands Venture Forum, the first organization of its kind the Midwest, bringing venture capital firms and early stage investors together with start-ups and high-growth technology companies. MVF catalyzed a wave of technology investments and led to numerous successful financings and spin-off organizations, all focused on developing a critical mass of technology innovators and investors on the Silicon Prairie. He has assisted clients globally in creating consistency and excellence in negotiating complex, strategic business services and intangibles engagements and has developed deep expertise with ROI-based business cases and leading teams to initiate and implement world-class client solutions.

Her business-focused legal advice helped public companies and technology startups rapidly scale global footprints, launch new business models, and recognize profitable revenue growth. She has navigated complex satellite and telecommunications statutes around the world to guide market access entry points in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In addition to building and managing high-performing teams and overseeing legal department operations, she is highly valued for her strategic business advice as General Counsel. Her exceptional ability to streamline complex information and processes into practical workflows allows her to create operational efficiencies across multiple business units. As a member of the executive leadership team, she is a trusted advisor for CEOs, board members, and senior management. Priya has led several M&As, both from the buy-side and sell-side. She is an effective negotiator and adept at understanding the intensely competitive, technical and business environments of high-growth companies. Priya’s experience as a corporate attorney and technology product counsel in Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. has influenced her strategic business insights as a member of the Red Legend Capital Advisory team. She advises senior enterprise executives as well as investment professionals on key business aspects of M&A, highlights the nuances of commercial transactions due diligence, establishes an organized virtual data room taxonomy, and protects intellectual property rights. Priya has held attorney and leadership roles at Capgemini, King & Spalding, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Nextel Communications, Ribbon Communications, Edgewater Networks, and Skylo Technologies where she is part of the executive management team. Priya has been a frequent conference speaker and panel moderator on the topics of trade secrets, IP corporate strategy, and strategic business counseling. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Law and her B.A. with Honors in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
